A Change in the Normal
I have felt for some time that I need to blog about our experiences as we send our oldest Jarrett on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This blog will be used to tell about his experiences in the mission field as well as our experiences back home. Ben served a mission and we have known that Jarrett would serve for the last 18 years. That absolutely did not make it any easier to let him go. Jarrett has had such a special spirit about him since he was placed in my arms 18 years ago. I have known since he was young that he would do amazing things and has a strong testimony of his Savior. I don't know if other moms feel the way I have felt but, as happy and blessed as I feel to have him be able to serve, it has not been easy. Ever since he put his papers in in March I have gone through a process of really thinking about what I believe and what I know to be true. Where is my testimony?
